Homeowners and landlords
CERT funded loft insulation under this scheme is only available for DIY installations. You may use a Home Improvement Professional to install your insulation but they must not claim funding under any other CERT scheme.

Subsidised insulation under the scheme is only available for use on renovation/improvement projects for existing homes. It can not be used in new build properties and extensions.

The savings are provided through the discounted prices and special offers advertised by the merchant branches or on their website.

To take advantage of the scheme, simply follow these guidelines:

Select your nearest store or shop online
Purchase enough insulation for your project in one transaction at your chosen merchant, up to a maximum of 100m². Look for the specially labelled qualifying packs. Click here to use our online calculator.
If you are installing yourself, carefully follow the installation and safety instructions on this site.
Ensure you wear the correct protective equipment.

Home Improvement Professional

You may install loft insulation under the E.ON CERT scheme provided that is is a renovation/retrofit project in a domestic property (not a new build or extension) and that you do not claim for CERT funding under any other professional installation scheme.
Only product packs specially labelled for DIY use and purchased through the participating merchants are eligible to be used on this scheme. You may not purchase more than 100m² for any single installation.
All purchases under the E.ON CERT scheme will be subject to monitoring and post-installation checks.
